Coburg Harriers grant success

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO US!

Why are we jumping for joy? Coburg Harriers is the grateful recipient of a Sport and Recreation Victoria (Victorian Government) grant that will enable us to purchase new equipment to support an exciting suite of new training programs!

The $3423 grant will cover: Plymo foam box set | Speed hurdles | Titanium dog sled | Yardstick + brochure printing to tell everyone about our fantastic new and existing programs!

New programs we will soon deliver include Morning Heart Starters – cardio sessions for early starters | Running for Absolute Beginners | Return to Running | Running and Jumping for Basketball.

Coburg Harriers President Michael Carney said: “This is an excellent result for the Coburg Harriers and as we roll out the new programs, both members and the broader community will benefit.”

The Club has also received $2000 from the Community Shade Grants program run by the Department of Health and Human Services. This will be spent on a new large marquee, lots of sun hats and sunscreen.
