Congratulations Coburg Harrier's Athletes on a fantastic Melbourne Marathon result! 

A special congratulations to Stacey Van Dueren who was the third placed female in the Marathon in a stunning time of: 2:58:25.  Stacey continues to inspire us all - with her ever improving approach to training and performance - inspirational!

Also a top effort from Deanne Nobbs 3:16:02 finishing in 22nd place - a big effort from Deanne especially with her busy running program, we could see Deanne break 3 hours for a marathon in the next 12 months.  Well done to Philip Van Dueren with a sub 3 hour effort (2:59:19):  a magic performance from the versatile flying dutchman!  Nick Iliopoulos finished in a credible 3:39:36 - Nick run perfectly to plan.  Hard running Michael Grech finished his first Marathon in 4:49:16 - watch out for this guy in future events: he's on a mission to train up to 100 kms a week, he has already proven he can train for a Marathon, so next maybe a 6 hour ultra!
