Coburg Harriers have a team participating in the Cancer Council City of Moreland Relay for Life at Coburg City Oval this Saturday 21 April 2012 from 4.00  pm. If you would like to join our team, email This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it or visit our tent on the eastern side from 6.30 pm - as we have a number of athletes involved in the AV XCR12 Relays - and we will add you to our roster. If you cannot make it, you can donate here.  Entry is via the car park in Russell Street near the Coburg Leisure Centre

The Relay is people coming together to celebrate the lives lost or affected by cancer. There are no baton changes or even a team sheet. It is just ordinary, every day people getting together to enjoy each others company in order to remember and commemorate those whose lives have been affected by the big C. You can walk your laps, or even hop, skip or jump your laps. There is no pressure. no obligation but to be involved

Should you need an incentive to donate to the team, its worth pointing out that your Coburg Harriers club president Jeremy Grey will be appearing in the Miss Moreland drag show competition as the clock ticks close to midnight. Look forward to seeing you there!
