2008/09 Victorian Milers Club - Meet 6

The last meeting of the Victorian Milers Club for 2008/09 was held at Olympic Park with the 800 m and 1500 m on the evening's program

The Coburg Harriers were represented by the Benny Tancredi trained sprinter David Woods. This would be Woods' second milers club meeting for the season, having competed in January at Sandringham

Placed in Graded Heat Seven, Woods led all the way to finish in first place, with a four second gap to the runner up. A time of 2:13.03 was very good in the conditions and fell just short of the 2:12.80 recorded at Sandringham
