COBURG HARRIERS HOST PREMIER'S ACTIVE FAMILIES CHALLENGE

The Premier's Active Families Challenge encourages Victorians to be more physically active, have fun and spend more time together. To complete the Challenge, families must do 30 minutes of physical activity for at least 30 days between 9 March and 20 April 2008

The Coburg Harriers, one of the fastest growing athletics clubs in Victoria, have signed on to assist the Challenge by setting up the Coburg Walkers Group

Families are invited to gather at the home of the Coburg Harriers, the Harold Stevens Athletics Field, from 6:15 pm. After lining up on the start line at 6:30 pm, participants will then have thirty minutes to complete as many laps as they can. At 7:00 pm sharp, a whistle will be blown and the distance walked recorded

The Coburg Walkers Club meets every Tuesday night during the Challenge and prizes will be awarded for participation and the most distance covered at the conclusion of the Challenge
