You will be pleased to note that in most cases, fee's remain unchanged from 2011. The one fee that has increased is for training membership
If you do not compete in Athletics Victoria competition nor volunteer for the club, then you must pay the training member fee. The fee works out as the standard club fee plus the Athletics Victoria registration cost. As the latter increases, so we must increase the training member fee. It is fair to say the club has been lax in collecting this fee from some non-AV involved athletes. If you are not prepared to pay the fee, we invite you to train elsewhere
There are a number of fundraising activities occurring this year that we will need your help with. First off we have the footy tipping competition run by Tony Bowman and is just $30 to enter. We have the Coburg 6 Hour in March, a Bunnings BBQ plus the Coburg 24 Hour Carnival in April and we will be staging our annual trivia night later in the year. Those who commit to volunteer at these events, club runs or AV meets are eligible for the club member fee
It would be great if all members could be paid up by 3 February 2012 and we thank you in advance for your assistance in that. The club's Annual General Meeting takes place in March with a date to be fixed next week and at that meeting all positions are declared vacant and nominations called for from the floor
Finally, please be reminded that when the track is in use be it a school booking, or Little Athletics, that the entire facility including the gymnasium is unavailable for use. So with that in mind, Coburg Little Athletics have booked the facility for a twilight meet on Wednesday, 25 January. Accordingly, no training, gym or club room use can take place from 4:00 pm onwards
