1st Dave Stephens - 13 minutes 37.6 seconds
2nd Sandor Iharos - 13 minutes 42.3 seconds
3rd Dave Power - 13 minutes 46.8 seconds

It was hard work all the way for Dave Stephens in the 3 Mile. He took the lead after 1 mile and set a cracking pace for six
laps, then he changed his tactics, dropped back and only shot past to a winning lead with 300 yards to go.
